Reign Dates

Very old genealogies sometimes have dates accurate only to the reign of a monarch. These can be entered using the "Temp" prefix followed by the abbreviated monarch’s name — for example:

Temp Hen VII

This means "in the reign of Henry VII" (tempore = in the time of).

Note — Reign dates are not supported in the GEDCOM standard.
