Cause of death is often recorded on historical documents and can be entered on death facts using the Cause field. Pedigree Forge will suggest common causes as you type.
Tip — For the best results in narrative reports, choose wording that reads naturally when prefixed with "of". For example, "bronchitis" reads well as "died of bronchitis". If the cause sounds better with an article, include it — "a heart attack" rather than just "heart attack".
