Person or Couple Facts

Facts in Pedigree Forge are either person facts or couple facts:

• Person facts relate to an individual — birth, baptism, death, burial, occupation, and so on.
• Couple facts relate to a partnership — marriage, divorce, engagement, and similar events.

When adding a fact, the Facts menu offers separate sections for person and couple facts. If the active person has more than one spouse or partner, make sure the correct partner is selected before adding a couple fact. See Multiple spouses for more information.
