Report Items: Other Types

In addition to the main narrative and source items, reports can include:

• Text — inserts a block of free text at that point in the report. The text is edited directly below the tree, and can be plain or formatted (rich) text.
• TextBefore and TextAfter — insert free text immediately before or after a particular person’s chapter. Use Choose… to select the person whose chapter the text belongs with; a chapter about a couple can be matched by either of its subjects — it does not matter which one you choose. If no person is chosen, the text will not appear in the report.
• PageBreak — forces a page break at that point in the report.
• Separator — adds a visual separator between sections.
• TableOfContents — generates a table of contents based on the chapter headings in the report.
• Index — generates a name index for the report.
• Blank — adds a blank page.
