Report Configuration

Reports have several configuration options that affect how the narrative is generated and presented. These are accessed from the report’s properties.

Key configuration options include:

• Number of generations — how many generations to include in ancestor or descendant narrative items.
• Source groups — which source groups to include.
• Adoption handling — whether to follow birth, adopted, or both family lines (see Adopted persons).
• Page layout — paper size, margins, and orientation.
• Headers and footers — text that appears on each page.
• Font and styling — override the default report font and size.
